Now and Then - The Beatles

I had no idea that Paul and Ringo were working on this song. So i was taken by surprise when this came out. I think this is such a beautiful song and the story behind it is just as cool.

John Lennon started working on this song before his death and was also working on a few other songs as well. After he passed Yoko Ono gave the cassette tape demo of Now & Then to Paul, George and Ringo to work on and finish. They worked on it but ultimately scraped it due to the poor quality of the recording from John, but they saved the work they did. Now using the power of modern tech Ringo and Paul were able to enhance John’s vocals on the original demo so they could complete the song and release what is now the final Beatles song.

It was nice to hear all their voices back together one more time signing about missing each other. The video was also beautifully done as well. Overall i think this was a beautiful way to use technology to create a lasting memory.
